Wolves posted their first win of the season in round six, at the expense of Hull Kingston Rovers. The first period and Warrington went into a 16-0 lead thanks to scores from Ben Harrison, Michael Monaghan and Paul Johnson. The second period and it was more of the same from the home side as Paul Johnson got his second and Matt King also got on the score sheet. Rovers had two touchdowns by Peter Fox and Makali Aizue but it was to little to late and Wolves held out for the final score of:
