Australia Are The Hosts For RLWC 2008
The 2008 Rugby League World Cup is being hosted by Australia on the East Coast up to Brisbane and South down to Melbourne.
Cities Hosting
The northern most venue will be Dairy Farmers Stadium in Kirwan, Townsville, Queensland, with the Canberra Stadium in Bruce Canberra being the western and Telstra Dome furthest south in Melbourne. The other venues are predominantly in and around Sydney, they are: Sydney Football Stadium, which will also host one of the semi-finals, Parramatta Stadium, CUA Stadium in the suberbs of Sydney, just a little further south to WIN Stadium, north to near Brisbane and Skilled Park, the last of the stadiums are: Blue Tongue and Browne Park, with one of the semi-finals and the final at Suncorp, in Brisbane.
