Salford City Reds are a British professional rugby league club, founded in 1873 and based in Salford near Manchester. The Reds play their home games in the 11,363 capacity stadium called The Willows, Weaste, Salford, M5 5FQ. However the club is working towards moving to a 20,000 capacity stadium at Barton-upon-Irwell, Eccles.

Red Jersey

Salford City Reds, who are known as the Red Devils, play their home games in strip comprising red shirts with white edging, red shorts and socks. The away strip is all white. The red shirt has been donned by a few well known names in the sport such as: David Bishop, Gus Risman, David Watkins and Dai Young.

The Reds have won the Championship in 1913-14, 1932-33, 1936-37, 1938-39, 1973-74 and 1975-76, but not recently. They also have won the Challenge Cup in 1937-38, the Divisional Premiership in 1990-91, the Lancashire Cup in 1931-32, 1934-35, 1935-36, 1936-37 and 1972-72, the Lancashire League in 1932-33, 1933-34, 1934-35, 1936-37 and 1938-39, as well as the BBC2 Floodlit Trophy 1974-75 and the Arriva Trains Cup in 2003
