Sydney Roosters are a professional rugby league club based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. They play in the National Rugby League (NRL). They were founded in 1908 as Eastern Suburbs, changing in 1994 to Sydney City Roosters, and then in 2000 to their current name. They play their home games in the 45,500 capacity Sydney Football Stadium, Moore Park, Sydney.
