The South Sydney Rabbitohs, also known as Souths, SSFC or The Rabbits, are an Australian professional rugby league team based in Sydney, New South Wales. They play in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and are one of nine teams from Sydney. The club was founded in 1908 as South Sydney and was one of the foundation members in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership, the predecessor of the current NRL competition. They play their home games in the 83,500 capacity Telstra Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney.

Green and Red Jersey

The South Sydney Rabbitohs play their home games in a jersey of dark green and red stripes with white collar and sides. The away jersey is a paler green and red, with black replacing the white. The jersey has been pulled on by many greats in the game, some of whom are: John O'Neil, Jack Rayner, Clive Churchill and Ron Coote.

Honours

The Rabbitohs have a history of winning competitions, however this has not been in the recent past. They did however win the Premiership 20 times between 1908 and 1971, as well as being runners-up 13 times over the same period.
