Maroons cruise through – Queensland 34-6 New South Wales
Queensland secured their fifth consecutive State of Origin series with a game in hand, following a comprehensive victory over New South Wales in game two in Brisbane. The Maroons scored six tries against a hard pressed Blues side as they ran riot at the Suncorp Stadium. The result capped a miserable week for New South Wales, who went into the game under a cloud of controversy with a player walk-out and allegations of racism.

Queensland were quickly into their stride and Greg Inglis crossed in the corner on three minutes, further scores came to Israel Folau and Darius Boyd before the break. Giving us the half-time score of; 16-0.
Willie Tonga, Folau and Cooper Cronk scored in the second half, whilst Brett White gained a late consolation try for the Blues. Giving us the final score of:
