The Queensland State of Origin team is a rugby league team representing the state of Queensland that plays in Australia's annual three-match State of Origin series against arch-rivals the New South Wales team Blues. The maroons as they are known play their home games in Suncorp Stadium, Milton, Brisbane, Queensland. The stadium is also known as the Cauldron.

The Maroons or Cane Toads as they are also known play their games in strip of all maroon, hence their nickname.
