The Australia national rugby league team, also known as the Kangaroos, played their first international match against England in London during December 1908 drawing 22-22. Since that time, the side has consistently been at the top of the international game and set the benchmark for all the other nations.

Green and Gold Jerseys

The Kangaroos wear green shirts with gold V's and the Kangaroo and 1908 motif for their home games, with green shorts and gold socks. The shirt has been worn at the pinnacle of Rugby League for many years and by many world class players. With probably one of the best known being the 45 cap Mal Meninga.

Australian RL Shirts

Australia has been ranked number one for many years and have appeared in 12 World Cup's, from 1954. They have been winners in: 1957, 1968, 1970, 1975, 1977, 1988, 1992, 1995 and 2000. They must have a good chance of winning in 2008 as they will host the competition, at 12 venues across the country.
