Wendell Sailor bowed out of rugby with an amazing try to open the scoring in the All Star match. He scored on three minutes and celebrated by using the corner post to mimic playing the didgeridoo as his teammates danced around him.

The match had everything: big tackles, spectacular attacks, a gridiron quarterback pass, a pitch invasion and even a return of “the wall” on a double-try play by the NRL All Stars. it ended with Jonathon Thurston’s instinctive, one handed around the corner pass for Jamie Soward’s 75th-minute try securing victory after NRL All Star centre Michael Jennings had grabbed the lead at 12-10 in the final quarter.

The crowd of almost 27,00 had a great day out and brillian advert for rugby league topped by the win by the Indigenous All Stars. Final Score:
